Safety distance specifications for low-voltage cabinets are primarily based on the national standards "GB/T 7251.1-2017 Low-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies" and "GB 50054-2011 Low-Voltage Power Distribution Design Specifications." Specific numerical requirements are as follows:

1. Front operating distance: Minimum 800mm (fixed cabinet) or 1000mm (drawer-type cabinet), ensuring sufficient operating space for maintenance personnel when squatting or standing (referenced from GB 50054, Section 4.2.5).

2. Rear maintenance distance: Minimum 600mm, or at least 800mm if rear door access is required.

3. Lateral aisle width: For double-row arrangements, the distance between cabinets must be at least 1000mm; for single-row arrangements against a wall, at least 200mm of clearance must be left on the sides.

Additional Notes:

- The 800mm front clearance is based on the average adult arm span (approximately 700mm), with an allowance for tool handling.

- Drawer-type cabinets require additional clearance because the drawers must be fully extended.
